  • identify what happened to voting rights throughout the years
  • explain how the Electoral College works
  • explain the Republican and Democrat party differences
  • discuss the issues that each Presidential candidate stood on
  • discuss the life of the President Elect Barack Obama from early childhood to present
  • understand the different parts and powers of the United States Presidency

Computer Technology

  • create an enhanced Podcast using Apple’s Garage Band software
  • use various Technology Web 2.0 tools

Social Students

  • Create a time line using the graphic organizer
  • Venn Diagram to compare and contrast the Presidential Candidates issues
  • Create a Web to learn about the Electoral College
  • Create a Time Line about Barack Obama’s life
